I am 25 years old. I am married to Mike, who usually assists me during the cuddle parties. I am the stepmother to 5 children (yep...FIVE). They range in age from 6 to 15. We also have 3 cats. They are MeMe, Nina, and Misty. They definitely give us some laughs, as do the kids. :-)
Credentials......hmmmm, well, I am certified cuddle party faciliator #19, which means I have completed all the needed training that the people at "Cuddle Central" require of me. Plus, I also have a bachelors in social work, with a concentration in psychology. I currently work in child welfare as a case manager.
I have many interests and hobbies. I love reading. I absolutely LOVE Harry Potter, the books and the movies. I also love going for walks outdoors. I have a newfound facination with butterflies. I have also discovered that I like wood working. Mike and I are working on making a talking stick together, as well as a walking stick. Along with this, I love power tools, especially saws and drills. I don't use them much, but I like having them anyway. I also love shopping for new pjs that fit my personality! |

| What I got out of CP personally |
There are so many things that I get out of cuddle party. I come away with something different after each party. As a faciliator, I get the pleasure of creating a space where people feel safe. Also, I am given the opportunity to meet new and interesting people. I am able to grow and stretch my own limits along with the other participants. I get a feeling of being accepted for who I am, regardless of looks, money, profession, etc. Pjs, after all, are the greatest equalizer. |
