Stefan Wenger and Rachel Wynne are committed life partners as well as a Cuddle Party facilitation team.
I (Stefan) signed up to become one of the first facilitators trained in January of 2005, before I had ever attended a Cuddle Party, because I could sense that it is part of a powerful movement in human consciousness and I wanted to be a part of that. The sexual revolution happened before I was born but the Affectionate Revolution is just beginning. The son of a preacher woman, I grew up supported by a nurturing community I have always had a knack for gathering people together. I facilitate healing circles and singing circles as well; back in college it was poetry circles. I am also a writer, a singer, an eccentric and gentle mystic who loves people and loves hugs. I throw Cuddle Parties because I am thrilled to help people connect with one another and open up to their own sweetness and vulnerability. I threw my first one last July during a three-day fast, as part of a retreat on the Appalaichan trail. I was born in Manhattan and raised in the Bronx.
Rachel, a qualified choreographer, dancer and filmmaker from Dublin. She has choreographed and won awards for the Irish National Youth Dance Company, and in 2003 received an award for Best Solo Performance at the National Dance Awards. She is also an efficient administrator and handles all the admininistration and marketing for Cuddle Parties in Ireland. She is the most attentive, thoughtful and responsible Cuddle Caddy I can ever imagine having. Her presence alone does so much to help our courageous, yet often nervous first-time cuddlers to relax and to allow themselves to enjoy all the opportunities Cuddle Party presents. She first joined me for the first European Cuddle Party, in Dublin in the fall of 2005.

My favorite Cuddle Party rule is #9: Tears and laughter are both welcome!
One of my favourite things about Cuddle Party is watching people discovering how profoundly they can be themselves, and express themselves in just about any way they choose. For me, this is healing work, and people have so many ways of releasing their themselves of their old baggage and wounds, as they heal and come into a sweeter, more powerful, more open way of living.

| What I got out of CP personally |
When I was young I was pretty shy and anxious around touch. Socially I was confident but physically I felt awkward. About four years ago, though, I met some new friends who opened me up to deeper levels of friendly, non-sexual affection. The love, and the hugs, I have received from them have been so transformatively powerful for me that I have felt a tremendous calling to help other people find this level of connection. Cuddle Party is a wonderful opportunity to do this, AND to continue to find warm, vibrant people to connect with myself.

You will find that we create a peaceful, supportive atmosphere full of courageous, respectful people in search of connection. We manage to attract people of all ages, every time, and from a wide variety of life paths; students, estate agents, singers, psychologists, military personnel, even opera singers. At our parties you will find safe space to be yourself, (re)discover yourself, express yourself. We have been delighted to watch our Party-goers relax into themselves, open up and connect with one another, exchanging warm, healing hugs and often forging lasting friendships.
One special service that Rachel and I provide is that we are available for private parties and social events. We have seen how Cuddle Party builds respect and appreciation between people, and that leads to healthier relationships between people in any group; at work, or in a social club, or among friends. It is a great community builder, for any corporate party or social gathering. It is a great way great to celebrate your birthday, house-warming, engagement, or just about any other occasion!
